St. Michael's Mount. February 2012.

It was a beautiful, sunny day so after a picnic on the beach we walked over to the Mount. As the tide was right out we were able to walk over the sand and up into the harbour. I have now found my natural (it took a while) instinct and have started to retrieve thrown objects. I have an especially pointy tail when I do this!

Here I am sat in the harbour next to one of the summer time ferries. Do you like my smart new harness? It is very comfy and has room to grow too - bargain!

ALFIE WAS HERE!

The ferry I was sat by...
                                                                              picture for George.

Me on the causeway, well you have to walk along it even when the tide is out....the men in the background were flying model aeroplanes, I wanted to chase them .....BUT I wasn't allowed to :(

Do you think I need a new bed, Lottie?

it's getting a bit of a squash!

P.S I won't go into detail (it's kinda revolting...) but the sock came out last Saturday. It had been in my tummy for 4 weeks and a day, the vet said I was very lucky not to have been poorly!

Oophs I did it again......

I ate another sock, trouble is this one hasn't come back out again! I went to the vets today and had a check up, I might have to go to hospital and have a x-ray and possibly an operation.....OH BOY, I wish I wasn't so naughty....!
On the bright side I am now 6 months old and in very good condition ( well apart from the obvious sock thing) I weigh 16.6kg - perfect, I munch my way through alot of food and anything else I can get hold of...the smellier the better, horse poop, dead fish on the sand, seaweed, pegs, flowerpots, plants, stones and my absolute favourite SOCKS :0)
I still just about fit onto my bed, a bit of a squeeze, but I am usually to be found on the blue chair. Tom used to be king of the blue chair, but we reached a compromise I sit on the blue chair and he goes on my bed.

Christmas Day 2011

Snappy, one of my many presents.... he has 24 squeakers in him, I think we will cause some trouble!

Sam in his rompersuit he looks soooo cute, just like when he was my age LOL Can't think why Jack is hiding.....he has a morph suit!

Me opening (and eating at the same time) my stocking.

It all good a bit too much....time for me to have a snooze.....

Busy Day

The day started with a trip to the vets to be weighed...11.2kg WOW I am growing fast! Tom the cat came along too, nice of him I thought, he had a full M.O.T and passed with flying colours...well done mate. We both had to have flea and worm meds (YUK!) Tom tells me that happens every 3 months!
Then it was off to Porthtowan for some lunch, well not Tom he got dropped off at home...most unfair. We went to Blue, a trendy beach coffee shop that lets "well behaved dogs" in. I managed to behave really well and naturally the waitress thought I was soooo cute! After that a run on the beach, still not liking the sea - way too cold for my paws. They tried to get me to fetch a ball....WHY??? I'd much rather play with the seaweed and stones.

Visitors - Oct 2011

Hey, the family have come down to Cornwall to visit us for the half term holidays. They all live up in Lincoln, 7 hours drive away. I was very overwhelmed when they all came into the house on Friday evening, but on Saturday I was much more willing to make friends. We all went to the beach and I played ball with the boys....fun! I was let off the lead which made playing much easier. I was a Super Pup (SP) and didn't run off at all. TBH I am still a bit scared of other people and dogs, so I stay close. I also practised my homework for the week...touch, watch and default down. I like" touch" the best and I get loads of treats - yum.
On Monday Gran, Grandad and my lot went to Portreath. It had been raining so the beach was empty, loads of room to run around. Good photo op for Gdad, crashing waves. I tried paddling again, still not sure and Mandy found out that her wellies have got a hole in them.
Tuesday we went to Padstow, so did the rest of the world! It was very, very busy and everyone wanted to stop and say hello to me. We met up with Angela and Steve from Droitwich and we went for a long walk....the longest one I had been on so far. I was having a great time running around, but then I fell over the side of the sanddune and tumbled all the way down! It was a very long way down.... I wasn't hurt, but what a shock! My Steve slid (and fell) down to rescue me.
On Wednesday I went with Mandy and Becca to my next Puppy Class. You will never guess who else was there......my brother! We were sooooo excited to see each other. What a great surprise. He is called Harvey and moved in with his family a week ago. He is much bigger than me and a deep gold colour, I am still yellow. The other puppies are a Pug called Stanley and a Lab X Poodle called George. We all had a great time and I was a SP again!
Thurday we all went to the Bodmin and Wentworth Railway. This is a steam train and we found out about it on the Dog Friendly website ( a great website that lists all places where dogs are made especially welcome) we had a lovely time on the train, even though it was raining. I was a SP again and impressed everyone with how well I behaved. They thought I would be frightened by the train.....nah not me I'm getting big now!

What a busy week I've had, great fun with everyone!

Puppy Class - Thursday 20th Oct 2011

Today I started my Puppy Classes. This is great fun, all you have to do is lie down and get fed treats! I hope all the classes will be like this. For my first class I was the only puppy there. I got to meet some big dogs who will show me how to do things right....then I have to copy them...hmmmm I'll have to think about that, do I get treats for doing that too? I was very nervous of the big dogs to begin with, one looked like a wolf for goodness sake! The very nice lady gave me a stag antler to chew on, delicious! Next time there will be 3 other puppies to play with.
